Problem Installing SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP 7.03 SP4 64-bit Trial (Mini Basis System)
I recently encountered an error whilst trying to install the SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP 7.03 SP4 64-bit Trial (Mini Basis System) on my PC.
After reaching the "Execute" stage I received the following error message in Phase 1 of 23 (Create users for SAP system):
An error occurred while processing option SAP Netweaver 7.0 including Enhancement Pack 3 > SAP Application Server ABAP > MaxDB > Central System > Central System (Last error reported by the step: Could not read the profile path for user S-1-5-21-1500267112-2189629471-505790348-102 from the registry. This system cannot find the file specified).
Why is the user ID ("S-1-5-21-1500267112-2189629471-505790348-102") such a long string of characters? Is it too long for the PC's registry? My PC is running Windows 7 Home Premium.
What can be done to correct this error?

Extract work center of classification (CTBW)
Hi,
We are using Work Center classification extractor 1CL_OWOR001. Class type 019
We did the next activities:
1. Enter a basis data source that you want to extend.
2. Select the client, class type, and object table from which you want to copy classification data.
3. Select the data source to which you want to assign characteristics, then choose Characteristics.
4. Choose New entries and enter the characteristics you want to assign.
In the point 4 we tried to enter the characteristics but the data was not found.
In the point 2 we entered client with data.

I am rather puzzled on how to get the SAP Cloud Application Studio. I have been able to download it in the past by opening https://support.sap.com/swdc and searching for CLOUD APPLICATION STUDIO in the "Search for Software" popup.

How to enable the buttons on sap logon pad
Hi,
Good day.
I have installed SAP GUI 730; unfortunately, the following buttons are missing in my SAP LOGON PAD:
(1) log-on,
(2) new item,
(3) change item,
(4) delete item
In this light, I can't add a new server using the SAP Logon pad.
With this, I have two questions:
(1) Can I bring back / enable the buttons mentioned above?
(2) How do I enable the buttons mentioned above?

End user is not able to
1. Create Sales order for a customer from a New plant , since shipping point determination is not happened . (Without Shipping point the document becomes INCOMPLETE and he will not be able to proceed further like DELIVERY, BILLING).
He raises a ticket and the priority is set in one of the below:
1. Low 2. Medium 3. High.
Now you need to solve this ticket. You would analyze the problem and identify that the SP configuration has to be done for the new plant.
You would request a transport for DEV CLIENT to BASIS. You do the change and Request one more Transport to BASIS for QA client. The End user will test the same by creating a sales order for the new plant and approve it.

SAP Download Manager shows green window
Hi experts,
I've downloaded latest version of Download Manager (51050439) and installed latests Java version 1.8.0_66, but when I start it
(either with java -classpath DLManager.jar dlmanager.Application or with java.exe -jar dlmanager.jar)
I see very strange picture (attached). I'm running terminal session on the server.
(Hardware: 64 bit Windows 7 Pro SP1)
Any ideas?

in another computer install new SAP for Live. Is database install on two system separately or only on single system and shared by both computer .
